The Visual Books project is an product line of digitized
versions of the publishing company's output published on
Amazon and other publishing platforms. Founded by
Archeon Media, the company has been experimenting with
the visual book form for electronic contexts, combining
literature, video, games, visual novels, and music
soundtracks available in an old format.
The Visual Books titles—including nearly all the book-based
titles—are programmed using Clickteam's software Fusion 2.
This enables the software to be exported to IOS, Android,
Windows, Mac and HTML5. Archeon Media makes specific
use of this software in their productions, developing a variety
of HTML5 games that have been played on several game
portals since 2020. Several products developed by other
programmers have produced various types of visual novel
like projects, and dungeon RPG games with comic elements.
The Visual Books will also make use of producing the
executable small game if produced to be included on the CD
Rom, which will be able to allow a dual purpose product,
that will provide more value to the media.
The Visual Books concept was founded in 2022. The series
was made to emulate the mid-1990s era of CD Roms, not
unsimilar to the edutainment roms: equal quality transfers
stories that include extras like commentary tracks, still
galleries, a moving visual novel format, active hotspots and
trailers—all the features that made DVDs a standard in
consumer product.
Room 333 will be the first experimental Visual Book to
see what kind of product can be developed and marketed
on major retail outlets. The version will be one of three
programs that will be sold a separate units and will have
the dual features of an IOS, Android, and Windows type
file set included on the CD Rom itself for multiple launch
platforms. Clickteam’s Fusion 2 will be able to provide the
multiple export formats under one native mfa format.
